Workshop Name: Workshop Description:
The Total Package What do you present? Before you say a word, your clothing, your stance and your facial expressions have started presenting.  Once you begin speaking, your voice tone, diction and filler words either complement or detract from your presentation.  This session will reinforce or reinvent proper presentation as a woman, an AKA, an ALO.
FUNdraising - Putting FUN in Fundraising This session will focus on the current fundraising activities to include information on the two signature events (Little Miss/Junior Miss AKA Pagant and PEARL Awards) and high-energy, ALO brand focused brainstorming to identify additional options for funding scholarships and charitable contributions.
Mixing & Managing Generations Everywhere today is more diverse than ever and not just culturally. There are five generations in the workplace, churches, families, organizations, sororities, etc. today; each with its own culture, motivation and style of communication. This workshop analyzes generation gaps and solutions for managing the differences, so every individual can maximize their potential. Participants will leave this session with new ideas and strategies for maximizing the potential and talent of each generation.

1:30 PM - 4:15 PM | Afternoon Town Hall & Workshop

Town Hall As a member of Alpha Lambda Omega Chapter, there are a multitude of questions, concerns, compliments, suggestions, ideas, etc. that go unheard. Sorors will have the opportunity to, anonymously or not, place anything they want addressed on a piece of paper in a bowl and each will be randomly pulled out and addressed. It will be open discussion for all Sorors.
Strengthening our Ivy Being a part of a large organization, there are times when you can feel disconnected. Sorors will participate in a team building activity to strengthen our bonds and to reinforce that we are all AKAs with the same rights and privileges and we need to strongly embrace each other and encourage each other to uphold on what and why we were founded.
